Here are some frequently asked questions by property owners.

Can I update my details?

You can update your property details whenever you like 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. You can also update / add pictures and video too.

Are you able to help me update my details?

If you have any questions we are happy to help. If you have the ability to update, you can keep your details up to date at any time, which also helps keep your property attractive to potential guests. We can add your initial property details, however, if you provide us with details of a website or other source of information and photos.

The listings can be written in up to five languages. Do you translate them for me?

We can provide a translation service if you would like your details translated into other languages to attract guests of different nationalities. We do not use auto translators as they are not very good at translating localisms from each language.

How many photos can I upload for each property?

Every property can have 20 photos per property. If you would like more, please ask for a larger photo allowance, this has a nominal charge. Each photo can be up to 1024 x 768 pixels in size.

Can I add video?

One video can be added to each property and the property needs to be the subject of the film. You will need to convert it to FLV format before uploading. If you need help doing this, please ask and we can do it for you. Although we do not set a maximum length, a video length of more than a couple of minutes will likely lose the interest of potential guests.

What currencies can I display my rates in?

You can choose between Euros €, Sterling £ and US $ as your rate currency. If the visitor looking at your property has selected a different currency to use, your rates will be converted using daily exchange rate levels to their preferred currency. You can still specify the currency you would like the rental cost to be paid for in. We show preferred currencies as the potential guest finds properties more attractive in their own currency.

Do you have a minimum number of nights for a booking?

There are no set number of nights - the minimum is one night if you want it to be.

What happens if I have a feature or service not shown in the property listing section?

Please get in touch and we will look at adding it for you. We have done this for several property owners already.

How else can I promote my property on We Adore France?

We offer Featured and Highlighted listings for a small fee. However the best long term way to draw attention to you and your property is to add information to We Adore France on the local area, activities, places to see and things you enjoy about France - all credited to you and your property. If you have another business that may be of interest (e.g. guided walking tours, cookery classes, sports) then let us know and we would be happy to add more about that too. Get more bookings and sell your business at the same time.

Why do you offer two types of listing package?

Quite simply, some owners prefer to pay once up front in the knowledge that there are no extra charges. Others prefer to list their property and then only pay a fee when they get a booking. It is up to you.

Can I be flexible with rates?

You can be as flexible with your rates as you want and, if you have the patience and time, you can set a different rate for every night of the year! In practice, the majority of our members band rates according to the season and school holiday times.

How does the booking system work?

As part of your membership of We Adore France, we offer free of charge a booking system so you can keep track of your bookings all in one place, online. This means you can access your bookings anywhere. Our system includes all the details of your bookings including payments. All you have to do is login and update the details. There is also a widget that you can place on your website to show availability automatically from the booking system, saving you time on updating each time you get a booking.

How long does it take for We Adore France to add my property?

Our aim is to get you live the same day depending on when you tell us you would like your property listed. For multiple properties, it may take slightly longer.

I have a website - can I update my availability once and show on both websites?

Yes you can when you use our free booking system and put the widget on your site. This automatically updates your site when the We Adore France system is updated. In addition, when you get a booking online, it shows as pending on your own site as well.

What happens at the end of the year of a paid listing?

You can renew your listing or you can change to a Pay Per Booking listing. This advertises your property for free and you only pay when you get a booking. You can also convert back to a paid listing with no booking fees if you wish.
