La Blancherie du Luberon is an impressive former C18th gentleman's residence, recently renovated to provide spacious accommodation. The property features a swimming pool and superb views. Sleeps 6-10.

This 18th century traditional Provencal Bastide is set amid 25 acres of woodland and cherry orchards in the heart of the Luberon. In the mature grounds you can still find traces of an old maze, once a favourite feature of a gentleman's country retreat. La Blancherie du Luberon has been refurbished and modernised to a high standard, yet still retains its original character and charm.

From the swimming pool or the "Jardin a la Francaise", one has a 360 degree view: The Pre-Luberon plateau in the South; a pine, oak and cedar tree-covered hill and cherry orchard in the West, the town of Apt and the Mountains of Vaucluse (incl. the famous Tour de France Ventoux) in the North, and the beautiful Saignon Rock and village in the East.

La Blancherie Du Luberon is ideal for a family activity holiday or a quite and secluded break with friends, far from city hassle and noise.

La Blancherie Du Luberon offers an idyllic countryside retreat for up to ten people, providing three beautifully decorated double bedrooms and an attractive family room.

On the ground floor you will be delighted to find a variety of reception rooms which give your party plenty of space to spread out. The TV room is ideal for cosy evenings and has a television, CD player and DVD. The living room has an open fireplace and doors which open out into the garden, while the study/dining room provides the perfect setting for family meals or some quiet time.

The recently fitted kitchen provides ample room to make the most of the fabulous Provencal produce, which is readily available from the local markets. There is a large table, which is ideal for breakfast, and the door opens out to the dining terrace for ease when dining al fresco.

There is also a WC on the ground floor for your convenience.

The first floor has four delightfully decorated, spacious bedrooms.

Bedroom 1 features a large double bed (1.60m), and has a door which leads to the pool area. This room has an en suite shower room with WC.
Bedroom 2 features a large double bedroom (1.60m), and has an ensuite bathroom with WC.
Bedroom 3 can be either a double or twin bedroom (1.80m or 2 x 0.90m), and has an attractive open fireplace.
Bedroom 4 can be either a double, twin or children' s bedroom (2 x 0.80m beds which can become 1.60m double, plus 0.90m bunk beds; comfortably sleeps 2 adults or 4 children).

Also on the first floor is a bathroom with WC.

Grounds

Outside La Blancherie has 25 acres of terraced grounds with mature trees providing shade. The magnificent pool area offers distant views across the Valley of Apt and Saignon. There is an abundance of sun loungers on which you can relax by the pool, and a large outdoor dining table for use when eating outside.

Avignon, the capital of Provence, is 34 miles to the west of this captivating Luberon holiday villa.

The Luberon National Park is on your doorstep and is a favourite among walkers and cyclists.
