The immediate land area is know as 'Basque' and this was Henry IV’s name.

The farmhouse was owned by Francoise Valadie’s family for some time until it was sold during the 1960s. During the Second World War, her father, who was a member of the resistance, hid in the cellar under the dining room floor. The trap door remains to this day.

In the lounge there is Sky TV and a wood burning stove. The kitchen is fully equipped including Paul Bouse" double oven gas/electric range, Microwave, Dishwasher, Washing machine and dryer. Please ask if would like additional catering.

The house sleeps 8/10 and pets are welcome. There are 3 double bedrooms, 1 spacious twin room and a large dressing room which has a bunk-bed for children. The 3 bathrooms include one with Jacuzzi features.

Outside there is a swimming pool, both covered and uncovered terraces and an exterior dining area eating area and barbecue.

The house is set in 15 acres of grounds, comprising woodlands, meadows & lawns. Enjoy many fine walks in the grounds or in the surrounding countryside.
